I finally got a prescription for an antibiotic and some steroids to hopefully finally kick this thing out of my system. Fingers, toes, arms, legs, and eyes crossed that it actually works.

Buster also came down with something this week. He started with a cough on Sunday and by Monday, it was full-blown. I took him to the doctor on Wednesday morning and the doc said he had the start of an ear infection and his right lung was congested. So we got an antibiotic and were told to do albuterol breathing treatments with our nebulizer to hopefully fend off pneumonia. I don’t know if it’s working or not. His cough yesterday was so yucky sounding that it literally brought tears to my eyes. I guess we’ll just have to see how this weekend goes.

Buddy informed me yesterday that he didn’t stay on “green” all week (meaning, he got in trouble). When asked what happened, he said that some other kids wanted to wrestle on the playground, so he joined in and got in trouble for fighting. I asked him if he knew that he wasn’t supposed to do that on the playground and he quickly answered “yes.” So there ya go. Apparently he doesn’t care.

Oh, and Buddy also informed me that we have Monday off because it’s Martin Luthus King Day. Later, he said it was Martin Loofin King Day. I love that kid.
