What is a SIM card and how does it work?

Hello and good luck to you. Today we are talking about SIM cards.

The SIM comes from the Subscriber Identity Module and identifies the phone you are using with the telephone network. The SIM is basically a chip with a storage memory of less than 1 MB. But that memory is very important if you want to make calls other than those on Messenger via WiFi.

The main information that is stored is a 64-bit identification number that takes up very little memory. When you turn on the phone and connect to the network, the SIM card sends the identification code to the network along with an authentication key.

What is SIM-Lock? Or, why is the phone coded?
When you buy it from an operator, in theory, you buy it cheaper. Extend your subscription and get your phone cheaper. Operators offer the respective discount, which they gain over time from the value of the subscription. Instead, they block the phone from only going to their network. That’s to keep you in their network.

After several searches, I found a really functional way to unlock carrier network for free. You need the IMEI code of the phone, and based on it you can generate an unlock code. It doesn’t take long and you can generate a code for any phone model that is based on the Android or iOS system.

If you think about it logically, there is no need for a SIM lock, the contract is enough to force you to pay the subscription for two years. But when you exceed it, and it often happens, they don’t want you to pay another operator. Or maybe I’ll make you a better deal over time. May be.
